Leon Jacob Danker The victim was located on April 8, 2003 in Sacramento County, California. In September of 2006, he was identified through DNA. Leon Jacob Danker last contacted his family on September 13, 1978 asking for money to get him back home to Illinois. His family wired him the money and never heard from him again. Pat Keller, a homicide detective in the Sacramento Police Department's cold case unit saw Danker's picture and thought he looked like a man he had been looking to question in a homicide case. In 1990, Danker became a key witness in the trial of a homeless man convicted of murdering his son in Sacramento. Leon Danker testified in 1990 that before witnessing the crime, he had lived for four years at a homeless campsite near the crime scene. It might have been the same site where his remains were found. He was 52 when he died. |

Richard "Dickie" Hovey The victim was located on May 15, 1968 in Schomberg, Ontario, Canada. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received tips from members of the public who had viewed an image of the victim's facial reconstruction on the OPP "Resolve" website. The Centre of Forensic Sciences was able to confirm (on December 13, 2006) the identity of the remains to be Richard "Dickie" Hovey of Fredericton, New Brunswick. Hovey had moved to Toronto in 1966 or 1967 and was reportedly a musician in Clubs in the Yorkville area. He disappeared from that area in the late spring or early summer of 1967. Hovey was approximately 17 years old at the time of his death. |
Yesenia Nungaray This victim was located on May 1, 2003 in Castro Valley, Alameda County, California. She was identified in December 2006 after police received a tip that led to locating the victim's mother in Mexico. The teenager left Yahualica, Mexico on her 16th birthday in 2003. She was found dead just three weeks later behind a Carrows restaurant in Casto Valley. |

Wilds, a 38-year-old transient, was a Colorado resident since the mid-90s, and most recently resided in the Longmont area. She was largely transient and had no permanent address. She was last seen was in February 2006 in Longmont and investigators would like to obtain information on where she was between February and June 2006. Her death is being treated as a homicide. |

The Alberta Medical Examiner's office received numerous phone calls and a number of solid leads after photographs of a man were released to media on June 1. Terri was last seen on May 21, 2006. Reyes was one of two women who disappeared under mysterious circumstances, both of whom had connections to a former Jacksonville police officer, who was sentenced to federal prison in March 2007 for forcing women to have sex with him while he was on duty. |

James Harold Thomas The victim was located on May 18, 1966 in Cross Creek, Alachua County, Florida. DNA tests determined the remains belonged to James Harold Thomas, 24. The man's Ford Falcon with a Texas license plate had been found abandoned in the area a few months before the skeleton was located. Thomas had been listed as an Army deserter. But, when officers first tried to verify if the body belonged to Thomas, dental records obtained from the U.S. Army didn't match. |

Victor Barajas Victor Barajas, of McAllen, TX, was 20 years old when he went missing in December 1975 in Mansfield, LA. Comparison of DNA samples from remains found in 1979 in a Bossier City, LA., landfill about 30 miles north of Mansfield, in nearby Bossier Parish to samples from Barajas’ family confirmied the remains are his. Authorities have linked his death to drug smuggling. |

Scott Michael Morris The victim was located January 7, 1990 near Owensboro in rural Daviess County, Kentucky. He was identified in September 2007 as Scott Michael Morris, who was last seen leaving a convenience store in Indianapolis in 1978 when he was 14. Morris' family at the time told police that the boy frequently ran away from home but usually returned. His grandmother reported him missing, but it was not until 1989 that the family filed a formal missing persons report. The body was identified after Indianapolis police contacted Kentucky investigators to share a cold case. A description of the missing boy matched the body, and tests on DNA samples from Morris' relatives confirmed his identity. |
Kamnee Koushal Narain The victim was located on September 24, 1987 in the Cowlitz River in Kelso, Washington. She was identified in September 2007 as Kamnee Narain, born June 29, 1986. Her mother's body was located on September 11, 1987. Based on DNA tests and other information from the investigation, she was identified as Raj Narain, born May 15, 1963. Narain, 24 at the time of her death, a native of Fiji, who had been living in Eugene. |

On November 11, 2007, a San Bruno woman reported her niece was missing and hadn't been seen or heard from since January of 2006. Fernandez is an undocumented immigrant from Nicaragua, where her family still lives. Using Fernandez's identification, and a fingerprint comparison from her body, the sheriff's crime scene investigations unit identified Fernandez as the woman found at Greyhound Rock. Her boyfriend confessed to her homicide. |

Victor disappeared in April 1999 at age 15, and was at the time thought to have run away from home. He was positively identified in November 2007 from a thumb print taken at a school health fair. When his family read the police report on Victor's death, they learned that he had not run away at all and was probably only sneaking out to see his girlfriend. |

Sandra Jean Brady The victim was located on March 5, 2000 in Bernalillo County, New Mexico. She was identified in January 2008, after the cases was featured at AMW. The unidentified woman was Sandra Jean Brady of Ohio. Her daughter contacted police after viewing the show, and said that a tattoo on the victim was consistent with one that her mother had. She also indicated that the last time she heard from her mother was Jan. 9, 2000, when she told her she was in Albuquerque. Medical investigators used fingerprints to positively identify Brady. |

Cindy’s family researched the DOE website and found the reconstructive sketch of 483UFGA, by Wesley Neville – her family said the sketch looked just like her. |

Jose Bernardo Martinez The victim was located on March 13, 2003 in Houston, Harris County, Texas. He was identified in April 2008 as Jose Bernardo Martinez, who was born on October 14, 1997. He was 5 years old at the time of his death. The Houston office of the FBI joined the Houston Police Department and Texas Department of Public Safety's ongoing investigation into the death of this child in the hopes of generating the information needed to solve this case. The media coverage and public's interest in the "Beloved Doe" investigation was critically important in solving this cold case. |

Vicenta Sanchez-Orellana The victim was located on January 27, 1991 in Castro Valley, California. She was identified in May 2008 as 24-year-old Vicenta Sanchez-Orellana, an El Salvador native. Sanchez-Orellana had no identification on her when her charred body was found, and dental records entered into a national database didn't lead to a match at first. In October 2007, a niece in Texas found an online posting on the "Doe Network," that described the unidentified victim and a distinctive Mandarin-style burgundy jacket she had been wearing, along with a gold ring inscribed with the initials "O.M.O." Investigators later determined that the initials were those of her husband. |
Lawrence Scott Wikso The victim was located on September 23, 1998 in Loxahatchee, Palm Beach County, Florida. On 7/15/2005 the white male was identified as Lawrence Wikso with a last known address of 521 Federal Highway in the city of Lake Worth. Wikso was a known drug user and was in rehab at the time of his murder. His mother last talked to him in August of 1998. |
