Unidentified Black Male
- Discovered on March 3, 1979 in Lake Okeechobee, South Bay, Palm Beach County, Florida.
- Cause of death was drowning due to coronary.
- He had been in the water for approximately 2 - 4 weeks prior to discovery.
Vital Statistics
- Estimated age: 55 - 60 years old
- Approximate Height and Weight: 5'7 - 5'10"; 150 - 180 lbs.
- Distinguishing Characteristics: Curly black hair; brown eyes.
- Dentals: Most of his teeth were missing.
- Clothing: He was wearing a long white thermal shirt with a blue shirt over it; blue pants with size 34 waist; and black Army-type hi-top shoes. He also wore a blue gatorhide simulated belt, size 40 inch. The white sailor type fishing hat the man is seen wearing in the above sketch was found in his left rear pants' pocket.
A cross and chain with two keys attached were discovered in his pocket as well.
Case History
This victim suffered a coronary and plunged into a rim canal in Lake Okeechobee, near South Bay, FL, where he drowned.
