Circumstances of Disappearance

Angela was last seen by her husband, Bruce Chan. At the time of her disappearance, Bruce Chan was a lieutenant in the U.S. Marines stationed at Camp Pendelton in California. The couple was estranged but continued an amiable relationship. Angela was engaged to another man. She was living with her parents in Redmond, OR and Bruce Chan was on leave for the Easter weekend. On the morning of her disappearance, Angela and Bruce Chan went trap shooting in an area off state Highway 126. According to Bruce Chan, after shooting, he dropped Angela off in front of her parent's house at 1565 SW Lava Avenue, at around 2:00 p.m. and he left to return to Camp Pendelton. After Bruce Chan's departure, Angela's parents believed she had gone to Sisters, OR to stay with a friend.

Two days later, they discovered she had never shown up at the friend's house and she was reported missing. Additionally, her yellow Datsun (model 210 or B-210) was located on US Highway 126 parked on the north shoulder just west of the Cline Falls Bridge. The white tennis shoes she was wearing at the time of her disappearance were found in her abandoned car as well as her coat. There was fuel in the car and it was in good running condition. However, the passenger side window had been broken out and a large rock was lying between the front seats. Several witnesses claim they saw Angela's car and a female matching her description around the Cline Falls Bridge after Bruce Chan says he headed back to California.

Angela has not been seen nor heard from since.
