Unidentified Black Female

Vital Statistics

  • Estimated age: Officials estimate the woman was 20-23 years old, although she could have been anywhere from 18 to 30.
  • Approximate Height and Weight: 5'8 - 5'10; 150-160 pounds
  • Distinguishing Characteristics: Lean build. A healed fracture was detected on the left side of her nose and a healed injury on her right knee.
  • Dentals: She had a pronounced overbite. First molar missing from the right lower jaw which has a well healed socket; no dental restoration present; five teeth missing postmortem but have no damage to the sockets.
  • Clothing: No clothing located.
  • Other: Possibly Caribbean native. Her hair tested positive for cocaine.

Case History
Because she was found close to the Edgefield County line, officials speculate she might have come from a migrant camp in peach country.
Her murder may be related to several other unsolved cases of unidentified African-American women in Aiken County, including Case File 46UFSC.
All three victims were located unclothed and were approximately one-half a mile from each other.
