The unidentified man was hit and fatally injured by a stolen Cessna when the pilot apparently failed to properly recover from a bounced landing and broke a landing gear wheel. Local authorities believe the man's body was then transported about four miles and thrown into the river and the aircraft deliberately burned. The aircraft was reported stolen by it owner on 1/29/86.
