The decedent's scattered remains were located by a rancher at Gold Trap Ranch near Ash Fork, Arizona on November 12, 1988.
In 2014, bone samples were submitted to the Regional Crime Laboratory in Phoenix, Arizona, yet it is unknown if a profile was successfully obtained. DNA from the decedent's pants is also hoped to be obtained.
