  • The victim was discovered on October 30, 1995 in Bernalillo County, New Mexico

  • Skeletal Remains; Skull missing

Vital Statistics

  • Estimated age: 14-17 years old
  • Distinguishing Characteristics: Probably White. Victim had a small area of swollen bone just above the ankle, and on the outside surface of the left fibula. The forensic anthropologist advised this was not a healed fracture, but was consistent with walking "pigeon toed".
  • Approximate Height and Weight: 5'1-5'6"; 105-110 lbs.
  • Jewelry: Cameo style, yellow metal locket, with no engraving or enclosed material. 0.6x0.5x0.4. The piece of jewelry is not expensive and was likely purchased at a five-and-dime type shop.
  • Dentals: Available. #12 has an occlusal silver amalgam restoration.
  • DNA: Available.


Case History
The victim was located in a desert area, just north of Albuquerque, 200 yards east of Wyoming Boulevard and 0.5 miles north of Alameda Boulevard, in rural Bernalillo county.
Stabs to the chest indicated by autopsy.
