Classification: Endangered Missing

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Disappearance
Prudance was last seen at her home address in the Melbourne suburb of Glenroy, on February 2, 1992.

The teenager was last seen packing her lunch. A family friend, who lived at the house, went to the garage. When the person returned, the front door was open, the TV was on and a hot meal was sitting uneaten on the table.
She had received a telephone call shortly before disappearing but police do not know who made the call and no one has volunteered information.

Police have not ruled out the possibility of foul play.
Bird's grandfather has been in the witness protection program since turning Crown witness in the Russell Street bombing trial. Bird has never been seen again.
