The victim was discovered on September 12, 2003 in Naburn Locks, River Ouse near York, England, United Kingdom

The body was in an advanced state of decomposition and appeared to have been in the water for some time.

Estimated age: 40-60 years old

Approximate Height and Weight: 5'7"; 11 stone.

Distinguishing Characteristics: Some dark hair.

Clothing: Navy blue Umbro Tracksuit with gold/yellow stripes, Adidas black trainers - size 10, red football socks and medium BHS pants.

Case History
The victim was located in Naburn Locks, River Ouse near York, England on September 12, 2003.
A post-mortem examination, conducted by a Home Office pathologist, failed to establish a cause of death but showed there was no obvious trauma to the body. Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
