The victim was located in Horsetooth Reservoir, Larimer County, Colorado on August 24, 1996. She is buried in Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Four days earlier, on August 20, 1996, another female infant was located in Pueblo County under similar circumstances. Early DNA analysis do not link the two girls.
