Case History
The victim was located on November 11/12, 2000, in a heavily wooded near the Silver Fox RV Park are a few miles East of Estacada, Clackamas County, OR.
The location where the remains have been located is situated on a steep hillside covered with thick vegetation and damp, loose soil.
The location is a heavily wooded area near several popular wilderness recreation sites.
A search of the area revealed no associated abandoned vehicles and no personal indentifiers were found.
The area is seldom traveled, however, it is near a rural highway leading to numerous destination recreation areas including Bagby Hot Springs. It is also within walking distance of a popular lakeside recreation site, Promitory Park.
