LaBrie and his sister Shirley Klemgard of Calcium, were last seen on a fishing trip on Lake Ontario, in a 16', 1962 lone star boat, with a black 40 horse power Evinrude motor, colored white with red trim. They were last seen at about 19.00 heading toward the mainland from Galloo Island. The two had run out of gas and were towed to the island.
Relatives stated motor had been stalling frequently. Subjects' car and boat trailer were located at a state boat launch in Henderson Harbor, NY.
Both lived with their mother on a small dairy farm on U.S. Route 11 in Jefferson County.
