Unidentified Black Female

  • The victim was discovered on July 25, 2003 in the Mogul area of Washoe County, Nevada
  • Estimated Date of Death: at least three weeks prior to discovery
  • Death is being investigated as a homicide
  • Decomposed Remains

Vital Statistics

  • Estimated age: 26-36 years old
  • Approximate Height and Weight: 5'4"-5'5" (65" est)
  • Distinguishing Characteristics: Black shorter length hair. Had broken her nose during life, which healed unevenly. Medium build. The woman's toenails were long and significantly disfigured.
  • Clothing: A silver ring with a raised scroll detail that had once been cut and then partially soldered back together, worn on the right ring finger.
  • Skeletal Findings: Healed fractures of the right nasal bone and right maxilla; healed fracture of the spinous process 4th thoracic vertebra.
  • Fingerprints: Not Available skeletal
  • Dentals: Available Unfilled caries noted on teeth #5 & 28. Amalgam fillings noted on tooth #29 (OL). Natural crown broken off on tooth #6. She had lost 16 teeth before her death
  • DNA: Not Available

Case History
The victim was located Mogul Access Road, southside of Interstate 80 between I-80 and the railroad tracks, west of the Mogul exit and of Reno, Nevada on July 25, 2003.
The body was found wrapped in a shower curtain. It's possible she is not from the area and was transported there by her killer.
