Vital Statistics

  • Estimated age: 35 - 45 years old
  • Approximate Height and Weight: 5'0"
  • Skeletal Findings: Includes a fracture of the left forearm and a neck and lower back injury.
  • Clothing: Body found with white ankle socks or footsies.
  • Jewelry: An "African" type necklace, made of wooden beads, with wooden cross and had a Band-Aid wrapped around the clasp.
  • Dentals: Available. Deteriorating teeth including broken crowns of the upper incisors. Tooth 3 has both occlusal and distal restorations.

Case History
The remains were recovered near the Nonconnah Creek and the Rivergate Road bridge, Memphis, TN.
A worker cleaning trash from the bridge saw the body draped over a tree about 100 yards from the creek bank.
