Circumstances of Disappearance
Coville disappeared in April 1988.
His wife was charged with first-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence in the case in 2010. She allegedly killed her husband in 1988 while the couple was living in Sitka, Alaska. The investigation determined she killed her husband and disposed of his body. They had been married and living in Sitka less than a year when Coville disappeared from the Southeast town. His vanishing was not considered suspicious at first. But no one ever heard from him again and his body was never found. Coville's mother reported her son missing in May 1988 after she could not reach him for several weeks. Coville worked at a mill in the town at the time of his disappearance.
