On August 26, 2011, Cindy's mother woke up to find Cindy missing and a note reading "I'm living with a lady."
Cindy was 5 months pregnant at the time of her disappearance. Her baby daughter, whom she planned on naming Selena, was due in December of 2011.
Cindy's mother is puzzled why a stranger would want a pregnant 15-year-old teenager to move in with her. She is afraid Cindy has met with foul play and Selena is being raised by another family.
