Circumstances of Disappearance
Shirley Banning was last seen in Oklahoma (possibly Broken Arrow) on May 23, 1975.
The mother of three vanished after telling a family member she was going away with her boyfriend. Though authorities named the boyfriend as a suspect, no charges were ever filed. After serving time in prison for unrelated charges, he had a heart attack and died.
