Circumstances of Disappearance
Todd Lucchesi of Fremont, CA, was last seen on May 31, 1999.
Trackers traced his steps to the edge of the north fork of the Yuba River near Sierra City. He apparently walked to the river and disappeared.
A dog tracked Lucchesi's scent to a house near his family's summer home, then to a spot 5 feet from the river's edge where the scent went cold. A human tracker and two more dogs tracked Lucchesi to about the same spot.
Lucchesi was reported missing on on June 3, a day after his brothers returned to the family cabin and found him gone.
