- Discovered on December 15, 1994 in Seattle, King County, Washington.
Vital Statistics
- Estimated age: Mid 30s to 50s
- Approximate Height and Weight: 5'6"; 134 lbs.
- Distinguishing Characteristics: Black hair; brown eyes. A full beard and mustache. His hands and feet were worn and rough. 1½-inch curvilinear on left front scalp; 1/8 inch on right forehead; multiple on right elbow, left upper arm and knees.
- Clothing: He had brown Febo de Rita leather boots and faded blue denim Jean St. Tropez brand pants. He wore a black down coat & black watch-style cap.
- Other: He carried a worn brown Bible that had been donated to a homeless shelter or prison ministry in Alabama, marked "Daniel Lyles 02-18-60 and the date 10-26-94 hand-written inside
Case History
The victim drank himself to death in a transient camp in the 2300 block of Seventh Avenue.
