Circumstances of Disappearance
James Galloway was reported missing in February 1979 and his body had never been located.

Officers discovered a paper towel inside the victim's abandoned pickup truck. Wrapped inside the towel was a piece of human bone covered in blood. The blood was later determined to be of the same type as the victim's.
Galloway's truck was located on Winkler — Mt. Zion Road, near Habit, Kentucky.
