• Marks, Scars: Tattoo: upper arm "Dave". Scar from hip to back of knee, unknown as to which leg from surgery to remove tumor that caused one leg to be shorter than the other.

Circumstances of Disappearance
Wheeler was last seen leaving his mothers house on Livoli Avenue, in Braintree, Massachusetts on May 7, 1985. He was with his new brother-in-law.
He did not show up 4 days later for his sisters wedding to walk her down the aisle, and has not been heard from since.
