Circumstances of Disappearance
Dr. Stephen Reisberg and his wife, Jenny Sun-Reisberg vanished from the island of Kauai, Hawaii in 1990, where they were hiking. Their rental car, with backpacks, tents and suitcases, was found two weeks later at the Puu O Kila lookout in Kokee State Park. They were experienced hikers who had left Boston on Aug. 27 to hike in the Tetons before deciding to fly to Hawaii. Despite thorough search efforts no trace of them was found.
