• Date Of Birth: April 9, 1911
• Age at Time of Disappearance: 87 years old
• Height and Weight at Time of Disappearance: 5'8"; 140 lbs.
• Distinguishing Characteristics: White male. Blue eyes; grey hair.
• Marks, Scars: Age spots on face. He has a scar on his abdomen and groin, perforated ulcer and hernia, and walks with a slight limp due to gout in one leg.
• Clothing: A white T-shirt underneath a light colored, long sleeve, button-up, shirt, khaki colored pants and black leather, lace-up shoes.
• Dentals: He wears dentures.
• Medical: He suffers from dementia, short-term memory loss and confusion.

Circumstances of Disappearance
Loy has dementia and simply walked away from his residence. He was last seen about 06:10 on June 2, walking down a lake road. Cosby lived at the lake with his wife and a son and daughter.

Cosby operated a small Sweetwater cafe called Patty's during the 1950s. The cafe later became known as Al's Cafe. Although the Cosbys moved to California they maintained the cafe. Cosby returned to live at the lake years prior, but frequently spoke of going back to California. 

A three-day search for Loy Cosby, failed to locate him.
