Estimated age: 45 - 55 years old

Approximate Height and Weight: 5'3" - 5'6"; weight unknown

Distinguishing Characteristics: He had a slight build, and likely had brown hair.

Dentals: Available. The remains show evidence of bad teeth, a tooth implant, a root canal and gum disease.

Clothing: He was wearing blue jeans, a camouflage jacket, Air Nike shoes, and a blue, green, and red plaid shirt.

Other: He is believed to be a transient

Case History
The victim was found in Jefferson County at Golden Gate Canyon Road. The partial skeletal remains were found on July 24 by a work crew building a hiking trail. The body was found about a mile up the canyon and well away from the Golden Gate Canyon Road.
The coroner's office believes that the man died at that spot west of Colorado 93 north of Golden in fall or early winter of 2000. The body may have been covered by snow at some point.
The man was likely homeless, although the area is not frequented by homeless people.
