Paramedics brought back his pulse and restored his breathing, but he died almost 24 hours later at St. Luke's Medical Center.

In December 2013, the decedent was identified as Oliveros Perdomo after investigators pieced together his identity using immigration, social security and funeral home records. One of Mr. Perdomo's stepsons confirmed his identity. Mr. Perdomo died from a withdrawal seizure due to chronic alcoholism.
