Circumstances of Disappearance
Jovita was last seen on April 30, 1992. She was living in an apartment with her 13 year old daughter and her boyfriend in National City when she disappeared.
The day after Collazo was last seen, both her daughter and her estranged husband reported her missing to National City police. Her live-in boyfriend was a person of interest at the time of her disappearance. He is now accused of killing his wife and mother-in-law.
Collazo's body was never found.
