Vital Statistics
- Estimated age: 34 - 53 years old
- Approximate Height and Weight: 5'7" - 5'8".
- Distinguishing Characteristics: Brown hair.
- Clothing: He was wearing a "Timberline" red and blue winter shirt, a black winter jacket, black pants and "Rockport" shoes.
- Personal Effects: A sports-type bag was also found near by with different types of medication, a pair of prescription glasses and a change of clothing.
- Other: The medications are so many different kinds and so varied that no particular illness can be derived from them.
- Dentals: He had extensive and expensive dental work. There were expensive crowns and other work, but he also had a lot of cavities that had not been taken care of in recent years.
Case History
The victim was located in ten miles east of Selma along Highway 80 in Dallas County, Alabama on March 28, 1999. The victim was shot to death and left to deteriorate in a stream about 8 miles east of Selma.
A motorist driving along U.S. 80 toward Selma saw a red and blue plaid flannel shirt that contained bones near a tree after pulling off to the side of the road.
