• Distinguishing Characteristics: Brown hair; brown eyes.
• Clothing: She was last seen wearing a red "Motley Crue" t-shirt, size medium. Blue stripped jeans, size 11. White tennis shoes, size 9. Hip hugger panties, size 7 and a white or beige bra size 34b. She also wore a gold ring with red setting and a silver class ring with red setting.
• Dentals: Available. Denise was missing tooth 1 and tooth 32, she was also missing 16 and 17. Denise had only two restorations on the top surfaces of tooth 18 and 19 and she wore a lower orthodontic retainer.
• DNA: On file.

Circumstances of Disappearance
Pflum left her family's home in Connersville, Indiana on March 28, 1986.

She was going to retrieve a purse she thought she may have left at a party the previous night.
No word of her whereabouts has been heard since a girl friend saw her at 14.00 that day at a Fashion Bug Store in Connersville.
A farmer found her car locked and abandoned later that day.

Several agencies gathered using a canine and air search but no trace of Denise was found. Foul play is suspected.
