Clothing: Light brown checkered pants and a black leather belt. Also found was a brown button.

Circumstances of Discovery

The victim's partial skeletal remains were found in Mount Hood National Forest near service road S-57G, 4.5 miles southeast of Ripplebrook Ranger Station.

Five years later, in 1980, additional remains were located. In 2012, DNA confirmed the remains belonged to the same individual.

The victim is believed to have been killed and dumped at the location.

DNA phenotyping was used to estimate the decedent's race and face shape, in addition to skin, hair, and eye color. The results indicated he was of African descent, which remained unknown until this analysis took place.
