On the afternoon of November 29, 2002, a newborn baby with the umbilical cord and placenta still attached was found lying in a yard on the Fort Hall Reservation. The infant was wrapped in a sheet that was made by the brand Cannon. The sheet was pink with alphabet letters and teddy bears.
