Unidentified White Female

  • Located on January 2, 1989 on the Arkansas River bank in Tulsa County, Oklahoma.
  • Cause of death was blunt trauma to the head.
  • Estimated time of death is 3 - 4 months prior to discovery.
  • State of Remains: Skeletal

Vital Statistics

  • Estimated age: 20's
  • Approximate Height and Weight: 5'9-5'11"
  • Distinguishing Characteristics: Light brown/blonde hair.
  • Dentals: The most identifiable feature of this victim was her teeth. There were no dental restorations present. There was a bilateral cross bite and Anterior tooth crowding in both arches. She had tooth # 20, or the "eye tooth" rotated 30 degrees.
  • Clothing: She was wearing a polkadot blouse that was tied with strings behind the neck. She was also wearing a dirty white pleated skirt. The skirt had a waistband measurement of 26", and the length was 23". There was also two white sandals present and the insoles indicated them to be size 10 and 1/2 inches.
  • Jewelry: She was wearing two rings on her left ring finger;
    A small silver ring with a braided design on one side.
    A wider silver band with blue turquoise settings completely surrounding the circumference.

The victim was located in Tulsa County, Oklahoma on January 2, 1989.

A man walking his dog along the north bank of the river about five miles west of Sand Springs found the skeleton.
