Circumstances of Disappearance
Vanwinkle was last seen at 435 Gibson Avenue in Bethany Beach in June 1994. A close friend reported her missing.
Her vehicle was located in the Rose's Department Store parking lot in Millsboro, a week after her disappearance. Blood stains were located in two bedrooms in her house. The suspect in the case comitted suicide two months later. Foul play is suspected.
