Circumstances of Disappearance
Grossman had an argument with his mother and walked out of their residence on the evening of August 3, 1997.

Grossman was known to have a bad temper. He left on foot, had no vehicle.

After his girlfriend received a call stating his body had been dumped in a canal by Southwest 18th Street, a sheriff's helicopter searched canals and waterways for Grossman, but found nothing.
