Circumstances of Disappearance
Torres was last seen when he went out looking for bottles in his Uphams Corner neighborhood in Dorchester, Massachusetts on May 9, 1983.
Torres was a student at Hennigan Elementary School in Jamaica Plain when he went missing.
The only trace of the child police have is a pair of black nylon sneakers they found near the apartment.
