Circumstances of Disappearance
On July 30, 1997 Douglas Jones left for work and never returned. He was at the time, self-employed as a plumber. He was last seen at LS Green's Plumbing Supply in Simpsonville at about 17.00. He was never heard from again.
His 1997 Chevrolet S-10 truck was found abandoned on League road, in southern Greenville County, the next day. The keys were missing.
