• Distinguishing Characteristics: White male. Brown hair; blue eyes.
• Marks, Scars: Should be evidence of craniotomy on right side (to treat abscess in 1972)
• Medical: Partially paralyzed on his left side; mentally unstable. Dent in head from where a metal plate was removed.

Circumstances of Disappearance
A week or two prior to last contact, John Kreyche left Tucson, Arizona in a car. His movements, as revealed by phone calls he made, took him to Texas and then back west to the San Diego area.
The car he was driving was a light blue Mercury Marquis station wagon, Arizona plates BPH-818, and it was apparently never recovered.
Supposedly he turned the keys over to some hitch-hikers he picked up. Based on other telephone calls, the hitch-hikers may have been from Michigan.
Motivation for leaving is unknown, but in the months previous to his disappearance, he wandered from home numerous times. Though he disappeared from California, he might have travelled elsewhere.
