Unidentified Black Female

• Located on June 16, 1997 in Central City, Orleans Parish, Louisiana.
• State of Remains: Charred/Burned Skeletal elements sustained severe heat/burn damage and were fragmented.

Vital Statistics

• Estimated age: 35-45 years old
• Approximate Height and Weight: 5'1-5'5"
• Distinguishing Characteristics: Black hair. Small build.
• Jewelry: Investigators found a white metal ring containing an amethyst with a white stone on each side.
• Dentals: Available. Dental fillings. The left maxillary arcade from tooth #1-7 was destroyed by fire. Teeth #14 and 15 have amalgam fillings, occlusal surfaces.

Case History
The victim died in a fire at an abandoned ice house in Central City, LA.
The former ice house in the 2200 block of Clio Street burned June 15. But it was not until the next day that utility workers discovered the body as they searched through the debris.

She suffered smoke inhalation and charring burns.
