Distinguishing Marks/Features: Throughout much of the thoracic and lumbar portion of the vertebral column, the vertebrae were fused to one another and there was a great deal of osteophytic deposition on the vertebral bodies.
Dentals: X-rays and photographs are available. There were no upper teeth during life. Several bottom teeth were missing. Tooth #11 area, root tip.

On April 20, 1990, a child found a human skull. It was determined that the family dog had dug it up in the backyard approximately 75 yards from the house. The house is located on County Road 421 a few miles outside of Laurel.
