Missing since October 13, 1997 from Gillette, Wyoming
Classification: Endangered Runaway
Vital Statistics
Circumstances of Disappearance
A few days later his car was found on the side of the road, facing the wrong direction. He was never seen again.
Gallion's father reported to Wyoming law enforcement on Oct. 13, 1997, that Amanda left for school that morning and didn't return
Wyoming police assumed Gallion ran away from home with her 20-year-old boyfriend. She ran away from home two weeks before that,
returning the next day.
Her boyfriend told police three days later that he'd last seen her at 7:15 the morning she vanished. At the time police suspected he was hiding her.
Gallion and her boyfriend never have used their Social Security numbers, which would have been active had either gotten jobs, credit
cards or driver's licenses.
