Circumstances of Disappearance
Willard was last seen at her home in Jay, Oklahoma on June 17, 1996.
After an exhautive search for her, the family went to local law enforcement to seek help.
Ten days later, her vehicle was found abandoned in a pond near Colcord, Oklahoma. Upon further investigation, pieces of clothing were found hanging out of the trunk and gas tank.
The car had been saturated in transmission fluid as if the culprit(s) intended to burn the vehicle. Blood and tissue samples found in the trunk were a match for the DNA of Ms. Willard.
At the time of her disappearance she was 29 years old and had two young daughters. The case file kept by local law enforcement has been lost.
