Circumstances of Disappearance
Kalaf, owner of Venture Drilling Co., 6700 N. Oracle Road, left his office in Bisbee at 10:30 a.m. and headed for a job site about 20 miles outside Tombstone between Tombstone and Gleason, Arizona on July 24, 1996.
His silver 1989 Dodge Ram pickup was found, three months later, stuck in a small ravine in a rugged mountainous area east of Tombstone near Gleeson Road 17 miles from drilling site.
