Circumstances of Disappearance
Andersen was last seen on November 15, 1981 in St. Louis Park, MN. She walked out of her parents' home and never came home again. She was a regular at the Cardinal Bar in Minneapolis.

In 2002, the vacant home of her former boyfriend was searched in connection to Andersen's' disappearance. Nothing was found during that search.
Police arrested a suspect in her murder, but without any physical evidence, no charges could be filed.
