Circumstances of Disappearance
Herring was last seen April 22, 1995 about 7 p.m. in near Goldfield Campground north of Trinity Lake CA.
Herring walked away from a pickup stuck in snow. Searchers found a jacket, fanny pack and sunglasses belonging to Robin Herring, of Douglas City, who was reported missing by her boyfriend.
Officials found tracks believed be Herring's, but then lost the trail.
