Circumstances of Disappearance
Herring was last seen April 22, 1995 about 19.00 near Goldfield Campground, north of Trinity Lake, CA.
Herring walked away from a pickup stuck in snow. Searchers found a jacket, fanny pack and sunglasses belonging to Robin Herring, of Douglas City, who was reported missing by her boyfriend.
Officials found tracks believed be Herring's, but then lost the trail.
