Case History
Sometime around late 1996, the man packed a yellow plastic flashlight and a bottle of rum in a black duffel bag, and headed a few hundred feet off Harvey Road, near the Colonial Hill apartment complex. Then he sat down with his back against a tree, put a pistol to his left eye and pulled the trigger.
By the time a logger stumbled upon the decomposed remains on March 22, 1997, the man had already been dead at least one winter, maybe longer.
