Dentals: Not available. Extensive dental work that cost thousands of dollars; upper dental partial plate; crowns, restorations in lower jaw. The dental work was older and likely had not been done in the previous ten years. This work was not done in the midwest and appears to be from the south or in Mexico.

Clothing & Personal Items

Clothing: Weekend Beachwear t-shirt, size large, sold in southern California, now out of business; Spaulding men's briefs size 30, sold at Wal-Mart and K-Mart and are readily available.
Jewelry: Timex watch.
Additional Personal Items: The victim was placed in a footlocker prior to being burned. The trunk was sold in a couple stores in the area and wass not military issued. In the trunk was a cushion underneath the body that appeared to be from a couch or thin cushion like in a trailer that he was seated on. Also in the trunk were hand tools, nylon rope, a baseball bat, and a Craftsman claw hammer which was sold at any Sears store at the time.

Circumstances of Discovery

The victim was found in a foot locker in the blueberry fields of Grand Haven, Michigan on May 8, 2002. There were several of migrant camps in the area, and there were carnivals and/or festivals in the area at the time. The victim was killed elsewhere and dumped there by at least two people, as there were no drag marks near the trunk.

He is known to investigators as "Jack in the Box" or simply as "Jack."
