Unidentified Black Male

• Located in Bancroft, Beauregard Parish, Louisiana on January 4, 1993.
• The victim is estimated to have died 3-4 weeks prior to discovery.
• 2 gunshot wounds to the right side of cranium.
• Decomposed Remains

Vital Statistics

• Estimated age: 25-40 years old
• Approximate Height and Weight: 5'8-5'10"; 150-190 lbs.
• Distinguishing Characteristics: Black kinky 3/4" length hair. Healed broken nose.
• Clothing: Blue "Cotler" brand jeans, size 30/30; light-tan walking shorts.
• Fingerprints: Fingerprints could not be obtained.
• Dentals: Available. His teeth were in perfect condition; no cavities or fillings were present.
  Teeth #1,16 and 32 are partially erupted. Tooth #17 is unerupted. Teeth 8 & 9, upper central are slightly misaligned.
• DNA: Available in FBI NMPDD.

Case History

On January 4, 1993, a forestry survey crew discovered the body of a partially skeletonized male in a heavily wooded area of southern Beauregard Parish near Highway 389.
