Circumstances of Disappearance
Mcintyre was last seen on April 7, 1994 at his home on Round Lake
in Hagarty Township, approximately 10 km. northwest of Killaloe, Ontario.
The night Mcintyre vanished, he was last seen walking out the door without saying a word.
Michael left behind all of his belongings,
including his clothes, vehicle, credit cards, money and wallet and the solution for cleaning his glass eye.
The OPP conducted extensive land searches
around the home, interviewed neighbours, friends and relatives. The OPP's
Underwater Search and Recovery Unit also conducted searches of Round Lake,
in the hopes of finding clues relating to Mcintyre's disappearance.
No evidence was found and Mcintyre has never been seen again.
Mcintyre is formerly of Fort McMurray, Alberta. He came to live in Round Lake in
December of 1993. He is an avid outdoor sportsman.
