Source Information:
The outermost clothing was a jacket made of apparent khaki colored material, and appearing similar to a military fatigue jacket.
Also present beneath it was a vest with a leather-like exterior, and a fleece-like interior. Present on the lower part of the body were pants with a brown and webbed belt. Present on the feet were reddish-brown boots, with black rubber-like soles. He was also wearing a gold colored plastic crucifix on a cord around his neck.

The victim was located in the Susquehanna River lodged under a coal barge.
The body was approximately twenty feet off the west shoreline just off of State Route 11/15 in Reed Township, Dauphin County, PA.
Autopsy revealed that possible time of death was between early December 1985 and late January 1986.
It was believed that the body had drifted down the Susquehanna River to the location where it was found.
