Missing since September 7, 1983 from Sundsvall, Sweden.
Classification: Endangered Missing

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Disappearance
Olle Hogbom was last seen on September 7, 1983 after leaving a party in Sundsvall, Sweden. His school class had gathered at an apartment for the party. Afterward they were going to go to a nightclub in the area. Olle didn't want to go with them. One of his classmates tried to convince him to come with the others, but failed, and left him by a railroad crossing on Floragatan. She was the last person to see him.
Olle's glasses and the key to his bike were located some time after, close to the place he was last seen.

Alleged serial killer Thomas Quick has confessed to Hogbom's homicide. This has never been substantiated. Since 1993, Quick has confessed to several homicides in Scandinavia and has been convicted of seven. There is however an ongoing investigation into his crimes and the investigators have expressed doubts that Quick is guilty of any of the homicides he has confessed to.
