Circumstances of Disappearance

Jon Jonsson Jon Jonsson is missing in Dublin since 09/02/19 and was last seen in Whitehall, Dublin. Jon(41) went to Dublin on a holiday with his fiancée. Jon left the Bonnington Hotel at 11.05am on 09/02/2019. He was seen on CCTV walking past McGettigan’s bar at 11.07am, exiting onto the Swords Road heading northbound towards the Airport. Jon was last seen at the exit of Highfield Hospital heading northbound on Swords Road towards Collins Avenue. He is 1.84m (6″) tall, with short brown hair and of medium build. He was last seen wearing a black padded jacket.

Jon, originally from Iceland, travelled to Ireland on Friday 8th and checked into the Bonnington Hotel where a poker tournament was taking place. Jon was joined by his partner on the Saturday who was also attending the tournament. Jon’s partner left their bedroom on Saturday morning to get a coffee followed shortly by Jon, who was captured on the hotel’s CCTV in the lobby. Jon left the hotel and walked onto the Swords road in the direction of the Airport.

Jon left his passport and phone behind in the hotel room. It is out of character for Jonsson to go missing like this. He is a family man with young children back at home in Iceland.
